Falconry Photography - action Photos taken in the field of hawks, falcons and eagles
The definition of Falconry is the pursuit of wild quarry in it’s natural state with a trained bird of prey. Falconry is the oldest field sport known to man and dates back 4000 years and has been referred to as the sport of kings. In these modern times it is practiced by anyone who is licensed and it is strictly regulated. It is not a cool form of pet keeping and falconers are required to hunt with their birds often during extended game seasons.
It has been a lifelong passion of Mark’s for over 34 years and over the course of that time he has witnessed some amazing sights and scenes some of which he has recently started to captured on camera and would like to share some with you now.
